For an inexpensive hotel, we were pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and well kept. We arrived two hours early and they allowed us to check in. After traveling all day it was so helpful!
The room is huge, and very clean. TV works great with about 100 channels available. Check in was quick and easy, and I did laundry as soon as I arrived- prices for the washer/dryer were reasonable. The hotel was fairly full, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. It’s about 30 minutes from the French Quarter, and I like not having to worry about parking at night, and the price is so much less than comparable rooms in downtown NOLA.
We were enroute to NOLA to go on a week long cruise, and had to board the ship early. This location is convenient to NOLA, yet out of the congestion, etc. It is clean, well maintained, and affordable. We recommend it to any cruisers arriving the day before the ship's departure. Restaurants are convenient, as well as any shopping needs prior to boarding the ship.
Rooms were clean. Very inexpensive. No hot water in my room. Cold shower. Heat worked excellent. Nice place for overnight.
I’m currently staying at super 8 in Slidell. This is one of the nicest budget stays I’ve ever had. I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, and so were the linens, a small breakfast is offered with your stay. When I tell you this is the nicest/friendliest staff I’ve encountered. From the moment we arrived to check in all of our needs were met with excellent customer service. It appears to be a family ran business which shined bright through the way they interacted with us and always stopping to speak or say hi to my children. Not only will I be returning, I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you so much for making our little stay-cation enjoyable and relaxing.

Rooms are spacious.clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Ac is COLD. Friendly service. Park at your door. Exxon on one side, Waffle House on the other. Outdoor pool is closed. Didn’t do breakfast so idk. Showers/tub in both rooms I stayed has a little mold that could use addressed. No bug. Quiet. My coworker reported drug deal and police on the opposite side.
Nice budget hotel! Room was clean, sheets were a bit old and scratchy and blankets thin. Staff was great. Continental breakfast was simple. Great location! Will stay here again on our way to a cruise!
